I was in Belize last year as a part of a cruise destination. I was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Euclid. a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I was also the Key Club Advisor for Euclid High School for a few years and had a lot of fun. I also helped form a Builders Club in Euclid.I am now a member of the C-U Kiwanis Club in Champaign, Illinois. I have been the Key Club Advisor for the Central High School in Champaign for 3 years. How can I help?

I am Key Club moderator from Dayton Ohio who recently returned from Toledo District in Belize after completing a mission trip with 15 Key Club members. I must say that my favorite email from Rashale came to me after her first day in Savannah. I printed it off and now have it taped to the drawer in my desk. It reads:

good morning miss megan. how are you and cake in the face i dont like it than north corolina so that is not good. i went to get my foot mole yesterday and i cryed because i dont like wehen pepole touch my foot and tmarrow i am going to praktist how to walk in my prostist i know it is going to to be a lot of work but i know i can do it tell poo_ bear i said hello and evrey body and that i loved them. :-)

She always called my husband either Pooh Bear or Cake in the Face. (long stories - both cute). But it wasn't the nicknames that caught my attention and still hold my heart - it was the words of determination, the "I know it is going to be a lot of work but I know I can do it," that I remind myself every day that I owe at least that much to her as I journey this very lonely road without her smile.
