And for anyone wondering, I did write this original blog post. I just didn't physically post it, so my name and photo did not attach. Will make sure to do that from now on!

Thank you, everyone, for reading. Keep your thoughts coming. We'd love to hear.

good morning miss megan. how are you and cake in the face i dont like it than north corolina so that is not good. i went to get my foot mole yesterday and i cryed because i dont like wehen pepole touch my foot and tmarrow i am going to praktist how to walk in my prostist i know it is going to to be a lot of work but i know i can do it tell poo_ bear i said hello and evrey body and that i loved them. :-)

     love rashale

to megan and cake in the face

She always called my husband either Pooh Bear or Cake in the Face. (long stories - both cute). But it wasn't the nicknames that caught my attention and still hold my heart - it was the words of determination, the "I know it is going to be a lot of work but I know I can do it," that I remind myself every day that I owe at least that much to her as I journey this very lonely road without her smile.
