Of the three, I think the NTD problem is that kind of project, not that the other two aren't as worthy. But The Gates Foundation is an excellent resource for the funding necessary for these two, for all three actually. Once our project is selected, the next best job to do is to educate the members with a very widespread and focused campaign to get all on board asap. This will make a quick impact and unify all our resources. The last two earthquake scenarios have lacked this focus and awareness.

I suggest that the Global Network NTD's appears to be the most cost effective of the three and, therefore, support its selection. I would, however, encoiurage all Kiwanians not to forget to support one or more of the many worthy projects identified in addition to the world-wide project KI finally selects to support.

There is a link to the convention center's Web site on the KI Vegas site at sites.kiwanis.org/.../registration.aspx. There is a floor plan on that site although I don't believe we have rooms mapped out for our events and presentations yet. On the floor plan page of the Vegas Convention Center site, there is also a link to view a campus overview map and that would show you the official KI hotels in relations to the convention center. Hope that helps!
