BETTENDORF, IOWA – The Bettendorf Kiwanis Club of Division 16 will be hosting Kiwanis International President-elect Paul Palozzolo at a dinner on Tuesday, March 17 at the Lodge Hotel and Convention Center, 900 Spruce Hills Drive, Bettendorf.
Sign-in and social hour begins at 6 p.m., with supper to follow at 7 p.m.
Palozzolo will speak at 7:45 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to Spastic Paralysis Research. Reservations are due by March 10; cost is $30 per person and payable to Kiwanis Club of Bettendorf, P.O. Box 1314, Bettendorf, IA 52722.
Palozzolo is a 23-year member with perfect attendance and past-distinguished president of the Kiwanis Club of Springfield-Downtown, Illinois. He earned distinguished honors as governor of the Illinois-Eastern Iowa District in 1994-95. He has also served as district secretary and district treasurer and as president of the district foundation board. He served as chairman or member of 10 International committees before his election to the Kiwanis International Board.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The Bettendorf Kiwanis group meets Tuesdays at noon at the Lodge and welcomes new members.
