RICHMOND, INDIANA—Richmond turns back the clock on baseball again this year when the Indianapolis Blues and Dayton Clod Busters meet at McBride Stadium on Tuesday.

The Vintage Base Ball game, in its third year in Richmond, is sponsored by the Noon Kiwanis Club with proceeds going to benefit Safety Village in Richmond and Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

Porter Miller, local Kiwanis club's president, appeared on "P-I Live!" to discuss the contest and its impact on the community. "P-I Live!" is the Palladium-Item's weekly online news and public affairs program featuring people and events in the area's news. Viewers may join the program and ask questions.

The Blues and Clod Busters play under 1864 rules, featuring vintage clothing and guidelines governing games during that era in baseball. The Dayton Clod Busters have won the two prior meetings here.
