MISSION VIEJO, CALIFORNIA—Calling all high school students: Sharpen those pencils and gear up for your college admissions by taking a free practice SAT test at Mission Viejo City Hall on Saturday, October 30.
The Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo is hosting the practice SAT test, which is sponsored by Kaplan, a test preparation company that has helped students achieve academic excellence for more than 70 years.
The practice test will be administered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Saddleback Room at the City Hall, which is located at 200 Civic Center. Students should bring a #2 pencil and a calculator. Register for the practice SAT test at www.kaptest.com/practicetest and enter event code: SKOC0117, or call 1-800-KAP-TEST. Students can also sign up at the Mission Viejo Library’s Reference Desk. The library is located across from City Hall at 100 Civic Center.
The Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo is happy to host this student-achievement event, which falls in line with the club’s annual scholarship program for local high school seniors.
Students and parents can evaluate those test results and learn how to improve their score by attending a follow-up” Scoreback Night/Test Strategies Workshop” on Thursday, November 4. The workshop is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at Mission Viejo City Hall, 200 Civic Center.
