The Kiwanis Club of Waverley, Australia developed a new way to raise funds for The Eliminate Project online. They launched the Mother’s Day Project, where people could make a donation to the campaign in honor of their mother or any special woman through a website they created (www.mothersdayproject.com.au). The donor received a personalized letter and printable certificate via email that they could then present to their mother as a gift in her honor to The Eliminate Project. Through this effort, the Australia District raised more than US$6,000. They hope to make this an annual event and look forward to next year!
Remember, the 2012 Mother’s Day Zeller Fellowship is only available until June 15 - become a Zeller Fellow today.
