You don’t have to be rich, famous, powerful, good looking, “above average,” or even a veteran volunteer to make a huge impact on the world.
In his November online video message, Kiwanis International President Dave Curry recognizes Kiwanis’ “ordinary people doing extraordinary work.”
Case in point: the Kiwanis Club of South Central Indiana. Club members have taken on service full throttle—with a strong focus on developing leaders at all levels through Kiwanis’ Service Leadership Programs. The club sponsors seven branded programs within the Kiwanis family, including: K-Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, Circle K, and a Terrific Kids program.
All this, and the club is just one year old.
