Want some tips on how to get and keep members for your Kiwanis club? Mark Levin has 101—and he’ll share some of them with you if you attend the 2008 Kiwanis International Convention in Orlando, Florida.

Tapped as a keynote speaker for the convention, Levin has more than 30 years of experience in association and not-for-profit organizational management and has authored several well-endorsed books:

  • Membership Development: 101 Ways to get and Keep Your Members
  • The Gift of Leadership
  • Millennium Membership
  • Retention Wars: The New Rules of Engagement

And when it comes to Kiwanis specifically, Levin knows his stuff: He was a Key Club officer during his high school days, often volunteering with his club’s sponsoring Kiwanis club.

In his role as a speaker and consultant, Levin’s clients include the American Medical Association, Rotary International, the US Chamber of Commerce, the (US) National Education Association, and the Australian Society of Association Executives. He is the only practicing association executive to have earned both Certified Association Executive and Certified Speaking Professional designations.

Of special interest to Kiwanians: Levin was also involved with the ASAE Generational Study that was published a few years ago to help nonprofit membership organizations attract and keep the next generations of members and leaders.

Stay tuned for updated information on the 2008 Kiwanis International Convention.
