Eleven members of Key Club International are among the state finalists selected in the 2008 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. The award honors outstanding youth who perform exemplary acts of voluntarism.
Two finalists were selected from each state and the District of Columbia, and each of the 102 finalists receive US$1,000, an engraved silver medallion, and an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC, to attend the program’s recognition events. During those events, 10 of the finalists will be named as America’s top youth volunteers for 2008.

The awards program is conducted by Prudential Financial, Inc. in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
