Hundreds of CKI members packed the Sheraton Denver Hotel on Tuesday in anticipation of the start of the 53rd Annual Circle K International Convention.

What’s on the agenda?

Service: As of early Tuesday afternoon, more than 55 people already had signed up to donate blood during the Second Annual CKI Blood Drive. That’s a lot of chances to save a life. And all this good doing came right on the heels of a week at the Large Scale Service Project, where CKI members worked hundreds of hours with the Denver Salvation Army and Denver Rescue Mission.

Leadership: Tons of workshops will offer CKI members tips on leadership and service—everything from how to work with service partners to communication and conflict strategy. Delegates also will elect the 2008-09 Board and vote on amendments to the CKI Bylaws during the four-day convention.

Fellowship: CKI and Kiwanis members, along with volunteers and guests, will have a ton of fun during conventions while attending the Service Fair, dances, tailgate parties, and a night on the town.
