Club Management System subscribers can now conduct club elections online

Clubs that subscribe to the Club Management System in www.KiwanisOne.org now have a new feature in their menu—PollingPlace. PollingPlace lets clubs easily set up club elections for online voting by members. 

The secretary or site administrator with Super-Admin access can create and manage custom ballots club members can use. In the admin tool, easy onscreen instructions walk club secretaries through the ballot setup. (The help link on the main admin screen opens additional user documentation.) Club members will access the finalized ballot and submit their votes by going to the Members > Online Elections menu in the Club Management System (login required).

The system provides:

• write-in candidate field
• abstain from voting checkbox
• confirmation and editing option before final votes are counted from the voter
• ballot preview feature in the admin area
• participation tracking and results in the admin area
• print function for offline manual ballots

Annual subscription costs are based on club size and are often in line with what a public Web site design and setup would be for a club all by itself—not including all the other tools you get as part of the system. Bonus: clubs will soon have more than five Web site design templates to choose from and can change “skins” at any time. Additionally, new features—like PollingPlace—are an all-inclusive benefit to system subscribers and not charged as extras.
