A handy cheat sheet on basic computer skills and how to get to the Kiwanis Web sites is now available for download (PDF). The material was covered at the International Convention in Nashville this past June by Kiwanis International chief technology officer Scott Smith and is now available to all members. The session presentation is also available as a PowerPoint download, titled Computer Basics within www.KiwanisOne.org.
There are great resources available on the member resource site, KiwanisOne.org, but for some digital immigrants (those that didn’t grow up with computers at home), getting there is half the battle. With this handout, you will feel confident in browsing all the Kiwanis family sites, bookmarking favorites pages, updating your browser to take advantage of the latest features and more.
