Approximately 350 Circle K International members and administrators attended the 54th Annual Circle K International Convention August 5–8 in Birmingham, Alabama. Participants attended informative workshops, listened to entertaining speakers Kelley Kaplan and Scott Greenberg and met up with new and old friends. Delegates also elected leaders for the following year. Perhaps even more impressive—120 CKI members participated in the Large Scale Service Project (LSSP) during the four days prior to convention. In 90+ degree heat, CKI members cleaned up the Birmingham Zoo, rehabbed an urban eco garden, worked on a farm, helped Big Brothers, Big Sisters clean and organize classrooms for the school year and built houses for Habitat for Humanity.
