Did you know that your club can save money by increasing its membership? According to the Kiwanis International Bylaws, if your club membership grows at least 25 percent during one Kiwanis year, the club will be entitled to a rebate for those new members.

Take a simple equation. If your club had 20 members during the 2009-2010 Kiwanis year and have added 5 new members this year (a 25%
growth in membership), your club will get back 5 x US$42 or $210 for your club to use however you’d like. The more you recruit, the more you save!

Our club started 2010-2011 with 23 members.  We got 10 new members and dropped 3 and our membership is now 30.  That is over the 25% net gain.  My question is; do we get $42 for each new member or $42 for the 7 net gain?
