Members frequently leave when they are not fully engaged in club activities—and when no one attempts to re-involve them.

ReMember them with five simple steps.

  1. Identify members who have missed two or more meetings.
  2. Assign club members to contact “missing” members.
  3. Contact members by phone or personal visit.
  4. Invite members to attend a special meeting or project.
  5. Follow up with any concerns members have about the club.

Other ideas and tips:

  • Plan a special “Homecoming” meeting in September to celebrate the accomplishments of the club during the year.
  • Schedule a service project with the club's Service Leadership Program members and invite all members to participate.
  • Offer transportation to the next club meeting or activity.
  • Send “We Miss You” postcards to every member who misses two meetings in a row.
