The word is out—and membership is up. As we move into our second year, the Key Club and Circle K International alumni associations are adding new members and giving them a chance to do more.
Former Key Club and CKI members are excited about reconnecting with fellow alumni and engaging with Kiwanis International. Current members are excited about the chance to stay connected. Soon they’ll move to the next phase in their lives—but they’ll also keep up to date with the organizations that have meant so much to them.
There is no cost to join either alumni association. And there are useful benefits:
- Quarterly e-newsletters with features and highlights of alumni
- Updates on Key Club and CKI today
- Access to service opportunities for alumni
- Introduction to the advantages of Kiwanis-club membership—particularly for younger adults
- Chances to share club experiences and discover fellow alumni stories
The Key Club and CKI alumni associations are becoming a bigger and bigger part of Kiwanis International. For instance, there will be alumni-specific activities at the 2012 Kiwanis International convention in New Orleans—including workshops, a service project and time for fellowship.
With so much happening, we’d love to have your help getting the word out! Encourage current and former members of Key Club and CKI to join. Emphasize the free membership. And consider adding the following message to your email signature: Were you in Key Club and/or CKI? Reconnect through our alumni associations. Join today—membership is free! www.kiwanis.org/alumni.
