A script to follow when adding new members to your club.
Is this the ONLY "Kiwanis International" orientation for new members as required for Distinguished Club qualification?
This is a member induction script. I'm looking for a written new member orientation script. I don't have Power Point.
I'll check with member services to see if there is something I can upload for you.
Do you have a the New Member Orientation in a fillable PDF format?
Where do I get the New Member Orientation kit/packet? Isn't there a kit with a CD for indoctrinating a new member into Kiwanis? We tell a new member he/she has been indoctrinated prior to being inducted as a new member. What is missing? The information is missing.
The script for the new member orientation atates: "You have received a thorough orientation...", but there is nothing that tells what that orientation might entail. Where are the facts about Kiwanis? The 6 objectives appear later in the script.
Our new members have many questions that go unanswered, unless we just happen to bring up the many facets of Kiwanis during a regular meeting. That is not likely.
I think someone needs to spend some time providing the materials we need to be able to achieve Distinguished Club criteria.
