Template: Kiwanis Website Files for Clubs (zip files)

Alert: Webmaster skills and Web editing software required to use these free Kiwanis templates for creating a club Web site. Use a zip file utility to extract the compressed files (download the templates and extract the files). You can then edit the pages in a HTML editor, such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver. There is also a user’s guide for using these templates; please read this guide before proceeding with template use.

Download the templates and extract the files from the archive. Then you can edit the pages in a html editor such as Frontpage or Dreamweaver. I use Kompozer to do my html editing. You can download it here http://kompozer.net/ Save early and save often and have fun!

As an alternative to doing it yourself, perhaps you could ask a key clubber or circle k member to help out with your website.

I am the club webmaster.  If anyone needs a helping hand, let me know.  Building web pages is pretty easy.

It would be wonderful to have a template for a club program, whether it be and Installation program or a Charter Night program , etc.

Lets be user friendly and put directions on page with download  or as a readme in download.  Link given above fro directions simply comes back to same page, no help.

I do not need directions since I have written and taught html since 1996, but my job as technology chair for Georgia is to help clubs set up their web sites.  So directions for them would help.

I am trying to open the zip file with WinZip and I am getting the error message "Invalid Archive Directory."  Could someone please email it to me in a different format?  Thank you.

Josh - If you could email your address to me at kiwanisone@kiwanis.org and I can send the files to you unzipped.

Why were the pages made so narrow? They're narrower than the previous format and this affects the placement of tables, photos, and doesn't allow for codes such as imbedded calendars. Also, the pages display well in IE, but not on other browsers such as Firefox or Seamonkey (which I use along with NVU for development.
