Form: Convention Delegates 2009

Certificate of Election of Club Delegates and Alternates. Each delegate must be certified by having the club secretary complete and return this official delegate form on or before April 30, 2009. All clubs in good standing are entitled to two delegates and two alternates at the annual International Convention.

Charles - You will need to send a completed delegate form into the international office.

I need to know how I can change one of our delegates to the convention to another name.  One of our delegates will already have a vote as Lt Governor designate for Div 9 of the Florida District.  Please advise me what to do?

Vonda - You can send the change you would like to make in an email to helpline@kiwanis.org. Our Member Services department will be able to make the change for you. You can also call 1-800- KIWANIS ext. 411 and talk to them directly.

As president of a newly organized Kiwanis Club, I would like to avail of the complimentary registration certificate the Executive Director, Mr Ros Parker sent us for the coming Kiwanis International Convention in Tennessee. Do I have to fax the certificate together with my registration form?

Terry - We will be taking delegates all the way up to the Wednesday before convention. You may wish to take a paper copy with you to the convention just to be safe.

What do we do if we did not send the "delegate form" to International prior to April 30?  Our Secretary has not filled it out yet.  Do we take it to the convention or send it to you by snail mail?

Martha - You may be better off taking the form to convention with you and registering as a delegate on site. You can send a copy by snail mail or fax one in as well.

I have misplaced the copy of the form that I sent in for our club and now the delegates are being told they need to take a copy of the form with them.  Am I able to get a copy emailed or faxed to me?  I am from FL, Div 18S, Englewood-Cape Haze Club...K17250.
