The Most Important - Kiwanis
I joined the Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls, NY in October 1995. I was elected to the Board of Directors in October 1996. In May 1997, I was asked to take over Secretarial duties (just before I had the first of three back surgeries). In April 2002, my husband accepted a position at the Philadelphia Regional Office and Insurance Center. We move to Warminster (Bucks County) PA in August 2002 - much too the distress of the Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls. I joined the Kiwanis Club of Southampton and was immediately ask to become Secretary. I asked for a year's reprieve and a chance to find my pens. In October 2003, I was installed as Secretary of the Kiwanis Club of Southampton. In April 2008 I was elected President and on September 20, 2008, stepped down temporarily as Secretary and was installed as President in October 2008. The Kiwanis Club of Southampton was distinguished for 2008-2009. At the Spring Region 7 Conference in May 2010 I was elected Lieutenant Governor for Division 21 of The Pennsylvania District of Kiwanis International.
